Owned by David Toye, Bensten Motors is a complete service & repair facility, equipped with the most up to date computerised diagnostic testing equipment required today to perform accurate diagnosis & maintenance.
We are proud to be equipped with all the specialised tools required for carrying out major repairs for complete excellence, experience & customer service. We use all the same genuine parts, tools and online service history as a main dealer, offering exceptional service at reasonable and fair prices.
When this business venture first started out “David” was the only worker but due to the increase of custom he was receiving he increased his work force, he now has 8 employees.
There are now 4 technicians with BMW experience/trained, 2 technicians who have valuable BMW technician status and have attended the BMW training school.
There is a total of 52 years BMW knowledge within this company allowing us to specialise within this area.
Our History
The business was first located on Needingworth Industrial Estate where it was based for 3 years, we then opened a branch within the town centre but within 2 years the company had to expand to purpose built premises on the nearby industrial estate where we have a 6 bay workshop to enable us to cater for our ever increasing customer requirements.
We are now easier to find and are only a 2 mile radius from where we were previously based. The move was made so we could carry out the demand for work received in a larger work shop and now have the ability to offer a comfort zone to all of our customers, enabling each client to rest within the lounge area at their own leisure or even to visit the town centre and take advantage of the attractions.
Many customers have enquired as to where the name “Bensten Motors” originated from. The name revolves around his two children who are named “Ben” and “Kirsten”. Both children are extremely interested in cars and love to be involved in the company.
As a proud parent and business owner, David’s company name will always be one with a proud personal touch.
